Guidelines for ultrasound reportsPURPOSE OF RECOMMENDATIONSPrimary:Recommend a minimal report template for the best carein ultrasound services.Suggest report models that are really feasible (objective) andapplied in the practice of ultrasound exercise so that the physicianrequester and patient have the real expected benefit of the tests thatrequested and performed.
In addition to serving as legal support from the point oftechnical view.Secondary:That these minimum recommendations can help professional sonographersin the preparation of their reports, as well as assisting patients,in specific and more complex clinical circumstances, each reportmust be individualized.
We emphasize that these recommendations will bewhenever possible updated in the demand of the new proposed protocolsand the suggestions sent by those who practice ultrasound.These recommendations are not intended to limit the descriptions ofreports the information recommended here.
This work will certainly bealways a “beta version” with constant updates.
We consider thatthese proposals are compatible with Brazil as a whole.In ultrasonography in dermatology, as it is an emerging areawe complement the model suggestions with some considerations from thetechnique, equipment and illustrations.
